- Proposed Color Code for Balancing Reservoir -

 

We refer to the Contractor's letter ref.: IGJ/G16001.P/AECOM/2017-204 dated June 23, 2017 pertaining to the above matters.

 

There is no indication of specific color scheme in the Tender Drawings and Bills of Quantities for Balancing Reservoir. However, the Contractor has received Drawings No. SAINS/WTR/STD/003 Standard Logo for RC Circular and Elevated Water Tank from the Local Authorities (SAINS) to be comply by the Contractor.

 

As a standard requirement by the Authorities, the Contractor should be aware and take into consideration in their tender submission where these requirements are being use to all other Authorities project and not only for this project. It is Contractor responsibility to check and confirm the requirement during the tender process.

 

Nevertheless, this color scheme should be provided during the design stage where Consultant can include into the design requirement. But, Consultant did not receive any input from SAINS during the tender stage regarding on the color scheme for the Balancing Reservoir.
